Year 5 - Fire & Rescue

Over the past two weeks, year 5 have had visits from the West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service.

Throughout the mornings, the children took part in a range of activities.  They were given a fire safety talk, able to look inside a fire engine and at the equipment it holds and they were able to watch their teacher attempt to put on the uniform in 60 seconds!

The children were given the opportunity to ask lots of questions about being in the fire service and the work they do around Crawley, which gave them a real insight into the important work the Fire and Rescue team do on a day to day basis.

Thank you to the team for visiting our school and well done to Year 5 for listening carefully and asking interesting questions.
