In Art Club, we have been looking at a Swiss artist called Paul Klee (1879-1940). His work was influenced by several artistic movements including Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism. He used geometric shapes to paint both portraits and landscapes. As he was interested in colour theory, he carefully chose colours for each piece to convey a specific mood or atmosphere. We used his key works as a starting point to create portraits and landscapes of our own!
